The IASIS project travelled to Canada

iASiS Project Coordinator Dr. George Paliouras travelled to Canada in August to present iASiS in a variety of meetings.

The first stop for Dr. Paliouras was at the Manitoba Center for Health Policy, on Wednesday 2nd of August 2017 where he gave a presentation entitled “iASiS: Big Data to Support Precision Medicine and Public Health Policy”. Additionally, he met with coordinators of the BEST DATA project (Beyond Structured Administrative Data).

Next stop on the Canada tour was the University of Alberta, where iASiS was presented at the Department of Medical Genetics on Thursday, August 3rd.
